Hello, my name is Kay Baeza. I joined the NewSound team in 2015 after working as a hearing aid specialist for three years prior.
I have lived in the Houston area for the past 20 years, and the city continually provides me with reasons to stay. Some of my favorite things to do in my free time in the city include museum hopping, visiting the many parks and bayous the city has, and exploring the different communities in the area. I strive to give each patient the best experience possible from the second they walk into the door, continuing as long as they have their hearing aids. I believe that working at NewSound is more than just the scheduled appointment, and I aim to continue a healthy relationship with my patients even after they leave the office.
I served in the U.S. Navy as an Electronics Technician for 6 years, where I met my husband of 22 years. Together, we have two beautiful children. I still hold a strong connection to the military, so in my free time I often volunteer helping my fellow veterans at the VA Hospital in Houston, TX.

Hi, my name is Annie Gutierrez. I have been married for 32 years, and we have three sons that are such a blessing. We have two grandchildren that we love and are a blessing from God! In our spare time we enjoy taking a ride out to the Hill Country and spending time with my children and grandchildren. My husband and I are always ready to BBQ and serve others, whether it’s at our church or at a benefit fundraiser for someone in need.
I began working with NewSound in June 2009 as a Patient Services Coordinator in Richmond, Texas. I have worked customer service in the medical field for many years before coming to NewSound. The most rewarding part about working in the hearing aid industry is serving our community and establishing lifelong friendships with our patients and their family members. My clinician, Kay Baeza, and I work together as team to treat each patient with joy and respect and live up to our mission!
